- Member – Members are BY INVITATION ONLY. Those who have completed all the qualifications for and have accepted the ACCA invitation for membership may use the post-nominal “CCA”.
- Fellow – The Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certfied Accountants (FCCA) is awarded to members who have completed five( 5) years of relevant experience and have demonstrated extensive experience and commitment to professional ethics in the fields of accounting, auditing, finance, economics, and business.
- Lifetime Members – The ACCA Lifetime Membership may be endowed to retirees, unemployed, and inactive owners or directors of a corporation.
- Student – Students are not members of ACCA, however, may brand themselves as ACCA STUDENT while undergoing completion for the ACCA qualifications.

Applied to the CERTS processes, and as used in the ACCA environment, application is the stage where the accomplished form together with the required documents to be attached have been submitted for purposes of evaluating academic credentials resulting to the preparation of Initial Program Mapping. Registration follows the application stage upon which the payment of P2,000 must be made followed by the encoding of your name in the ACCA portal to be officially admitted in the program leading to the generation and issuance of your access code for the myACCA portal. Enrollment covers both the application and registration processes as well as the training, assessments, and exams related to a program being taken. Enrollment may also refer to the access given to the myACCA portal or the access to a specific course being taken.
- A diploma is given to an individual who had complied with all the academic requriements and qualifications in an academic program prior to a baccaluareate degree.
- A degree is awarded to a person after completing all the academic requirements in a baccalaureate or graduate studies program.
- An ACCA student is someone pursuing the ACCA qualification, working towards passing the exams, and gaining practical experience.
- An ACCA professional is an individual who had completed the qualification, passed all exams, gained the required experience, and had been accepted as a member in ACCA. Therefore, may use the “ACCA” or “CCA” post-nominal letters after his/her name.
There two (2) ACCA qualifications and two (2) academic degree programs offered by ACCA. The 2 ACCA qualifications are the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and the Certified Chartered Accountant (CCA) qualifications. The 2 ACCA academic degree programs are the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting in collaboration with Oxford Brookes University and the MSc in Professional Accountancy in collaboration with the University of London.
ACCA offers training for skills certification, membership recognition, and UK university academic degree programs, both in itself or in collaboration with other entities, as follows:

CAT Training and Qualifications Program
There are four (4) main modules in the CAT qualifications, as follows: Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting Level 2, Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting Level 3, Diploma in Accounting and Business, and
Certificate in Advanced CAT Studies:

Not yet, you have to submit a proof validating that you have one (1) year relevant practical experience to complete your CAT qualifications. It is only then that you may attach the letters “CAT” after your name.
On top of the CAT academic training and assessments, you also need to have a one (1) year relevant practical experience to complete your CAT qualifications.

CCA Training, Qualifications, and Membership Program
There are thirteen (13) courses to complete the CCA qualifications. Eleven (11) of them are required while two (2) of them are any of the four strategic professional course options.
There are three (3) main modules in the CCA qualifications, as follows: Diploma in Accounting and Business, Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business, and Strategic Professional modules. The Strategic Professional Module
is further divided into two: Strategic Professional Essentials and Strategic Professional Options.

ACCA however serves a learning and certification gateway among students and professionals engaged in non-accounting/non-business fields to acquire knowledge, skills, and competence in accounting, auditing, taxation, and audit and assurance services.

BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting Degree
The Oxford Brookes University will issue the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting degree.
You need to complete first the Diploma in Accounting and Business (DAB) and Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business (ADAB). The you have to comply with the Research and Analysis Project (RAP) course requirements before
you your BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University will be awarded. The last submission or resubmission of RAP in this university shall be in May 2025, November 2025, and May 2026.

The University of London will issue the MSc in Professional Accountancy degree.
